We collect only the information we need to provide and improve DEVerse:

• Account information — such as your name and email address when you register.
• Learning activity — your course progress, challenge attempts, project submissions and practice history.
• Payment information — when you subscribe, payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive confirmation of payment and subscription status, but we do not collect or store your full card, UPI or bank details.
• Technical data — basic usage and device information collected automatically to keep the Platform secure and reliable.

We use your information to:

• create and manage your account and provide access to the Platform;
• track and save your learning progress;
• process subscriptions, renewals, cancellations and refunds;
• send important service communications such as payment confirmations, subscription updates and support responses;
• improve our content, features and overall learning experience; and
• keep the Platform secure and prevent fraud or misuse.

All payments are handled by Razorpay, an RBI-authorized payment aggregator, over secure, encrypted connections. Your sensitive payment details are entered directly with the payment provider and are never stored on DEVerse servers.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate the Platform — such as our payment processor (Razorpay), hosting and email delivery providers — and only to the extent needed to deliver the service. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account is active so that your progress is preserved. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, for tax or accounting purposes).

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as light or dark mode) and understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly if they are disabled.

DEVerse is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
